With your help, the PTA can continue to make a difference at Prettyboy Elementary School through our promotion of educational and enrichment opportunities for our children as well as support for the teachers and staff. We count on you to get involved!

NOV 15-19 | AMERICAN EDUCATION WEEK

The theme of American Education week is to celebrate Education Heroes. 
Please consider writing a note to your child's teacher or even a note to your child explaining how they have been a hero through these unprecedented times!  The note can be sent to nnorris@bcps.org or dropped off to the office. On Twitter follow: @Prettyboyes1, @NicoleKNorris, and/or @JeffTessierBCPS as they will be sharing learning moments throughout the week

SCHOOLS CLOSED FOR ELEMENTARY STUDENTS

 

This year's theme is "I Will Change the World by..." Entry deadline has been extended to November 23, 2021.
 
Students submit their completed works of art in one or all of the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts.
 
The National PTA Reflections Program is an arts recognition and achievement program for students. The program provides opportunities for students to express themselves creatively and to receive positive recognition for original works inspired by a pre-selected theme while increasing community awareness of the importance of the arts in education.

OCT 14  |  RACE FOR EDUCATION

Race for Education is our BIGGEST FUNdraiser of the year!
 

On Thursday, October 14, 2021, Prettyboy Elementary School will be participating in the Race for Education. We invite family and friends to join us in helping the Prettyboy PTA enhance our school's educational program by raising funds to support school-wide programs and curriculum. Each participant will raise funds by asking sponsors to contribute a tax-deductible donation.

Sept 18  | Mum Sale fundraiser

The Prettyboy Elementary PTA Mum Sale Fundraiser is back!

We are accepting pre-orders through Wednesday September 8th at 12noon.
Chrysanthemums are for sale $10 for each 9x6 pot of assorted colors.
Very limited quantity will be available on pick up day - Saturday September 18th 9am to 12noon.

Aug 19  | Kindergarten Meet & Greet

After dinner, bring your soon to be Kindergartener to the playground at Prettyboy Elementary School for some fun. Meet and Greet with our Principal Nikki Norris, members of the PTA, parents, classmates, and our K teachers too! Hope you can make it!
