Fundraising

The PTA helps helps our school purchase technology, subscriptions, classroom supplies and snacks, programs and materials that are not in their budget.

This year we are looking for projects that benefit the whole school community.

Last year 21-22 we sponsored new library furniture for the school.

We want your ideas for our next project. How would you like to spend the PTA funds? What improvements would you like to see? What does PBE Need? Ask your child. How it's done...

Teachers, families and local businesses work together to accomplish these goals by:

 

  • Eating out on Spirit Nights (Restaurant nights)
  • Buying Spirit Gear
  • Supporting Race for Education
  • Donating online
  • Shopping at certain local and national retailers
  • Plant Sales (Fall, Winter, Spring)

 

 

 

 

Every 4th Wednesday of the month order lunch or dinner from Woodfire Kitchen, mention PBE PTA, and the school will get 20% of sales.11:30 am - 8 pm
Dine in or carry-out. Must mention 'PBE PTA' when you place your order.

The Direct Donate program allows you to contribute money to the PTA, knowing that 100% of the amount you donate goes directly to support the programs and events sponsored by the PTA.

This option is easy, budget friendly, tax deductible, and VOLUNTARY. Write one check at the beginning of the year and lessen the overload of fundraising. 

Our target goal is to raise $2500 this year through Direct Donate Direct. We ask that if you choose to give, you give what is comfortable for your family.

I hope that you will consider donating to this program as it helps to reduce the number of fundraising requests of our many families. I thank you for your support of the program.

Join the PBE PTA in supporting Casey Cares Biggest Pajama Party.
Pajama drive will be held April 11-April 28
Bring NEW two-piece pajama sets to school to donate to Casey Cares to support children on extended hospital stays and homebound critically ill children. This helps children feel more at home in otherwise sterile environments. Infant and adult sizes are the biggest need but we welcome all size donations.
Drop off in front office.

Prettyboy Elementary School will be hosting our biggest fundraiser in the fall- our annual Race for Education. We invite family and friends to join us in helping the Prettyboy PTA enhance our school's educational program by raising funds to support school-wide programs and curriculum. Each participant will raise funds by asking sponsors to contribute a tax-deductible donation.

Clothes to Cash Recycling Program

October 15/ April 22

Go green by cleaning out your closet to help our school raise funds by recycling your unwanted textiles. We make money per pound so channel your inner Marie Kondo and let go of anything that doesn't bring you joy.
We accept: clothing, coats, shoes, bedding, towels, bags, scarves, jewelry, wallets
Bag up your items then bring them to our school on October 15th.
Avoid the landfill and help Mother Earth with the Clothing to Cash Recycling Program

 

Prettyboy Elementary School Sock Fundraiser has begun!  Please buy a pair of these fun socks to support Prettyboy!  Funds will be used to support teachers and special projects for students.  The deadline to order is November 8, 2022.  Orders will arrive prior to winter break.
