Thank you, families, for your participation in this years Race for Education! See photos from the event.


For families new to this event, students will walk or jog around the Walking Track as many times as possible in 50 minutes. Each student will raise funds by asking sponsors to contribute to their race effort through a tax-deductible donation to Prettyboy Elementary School.


Our goal is to raise $30,000.

 

For Prettyboy Families, you can help us reach this goal by spending a small amount of time filling out a label sheet with names and addresses of potential sponsors. We can reach our goal if we receive an average of 15 names / labels per student.


We love to see the excitement build as the students see their class progress and look forward to race day with their friends. With your help, we hope to enjoy another successful event!

Prizes!

Prettyboy Elementary Sunglasses will be given to all students that bring in labels by Tuesday, Sept. 19th who also participates on Race for Education day Oct. 19th.
Students who bring in 15 or more names by Tuesday, Sept. 19th will have their name entered in drawings to win:
  • One week of FREE summer camp at GENESEE VALLEY
  • A $100 gift certificate to the BALTIMORE ORIOLES
  • Tickets to HERSHEY PARK (4 pack - 2 adult & 2 children)
The class that brings in the most labels (% based) will be treated to a PIZZA PARTY!
The student in each grade who brings in the most labels by Tuesday, Sept. 19th will be treated to a special local farm trip with Mrs. Norris and Mr. Tessier on Oct. 20th.

Students will be sent home with label sheets, which should be filled out with names and addresses of potential sponsors. These names and addresses will not be shared with outside organizations or be used for any other mailings from our school. Download the Instructions for Mailers for more detailed information on how to prepare your labels.
